Road Trip Preparation

It is a busy week here, we are busy with road trip preparation.  This weekend, we are driving out to visit relatives in Virginia.

That means a whole lot more going on to get ready. In fact, I amwriting this from my phone as I am waiting for the oil to get changedin my van. Yes, I could do it myself, but I was able to buy a package for multiple oil changes for less than I could do it for myself.

Even if the 1966 Impala was ready to go, the Dodge Grand Caravan wouldbetough to beat as a road trip vehicle with three small kids. Yes, I drive a minivan, and I am not afraid to admit it.

Sure, it would be better with a 6 speed manual and rear wheel drive, butsince I am probably the only person who would want one, I am not surprised they don’t make one.

I am hoping to have some interesting pictures from the trip to post here.
I am hoping to keep a regular post schedule this week, but Iwill have to see how the week goes.

    • I don’t think there is anything wrong with it either. The wife still misses her Ford Expedition though. I would rather drive the van, unless there is more than 12″ of snow on the ground. And then, I should probably just stay home anyway.
